It is regarded as one of the best loved lodges in the Sabi Sand Game Reserve - famed for its intimate wildlife encounters, particularly leopard viewing. Historic &Beyond Kirkman's Kamp is set in of one the oldest private game reserves in South Africa. The fascinating wildlife, combined with the endless space, utter tranquillity and extraordinary light, make this one of Africa's most compelling wilderness regions. Kirkman’s Kamp has entered into a five-year co-traversing agreement with Lion Sands Private Game Reserve. Our expert rangers are now able to explore more than 6 500 hectares of prime wildlife land bordering 12 km of Sabie River frontage and 11 km of the Sand River. Our trackers are also now able to sit on the front seat of the game drive vehicles, enabling them to follow various wildlife tracks even better, share more exciting wildlife encounters, ultimately enhancing your African safari experience even more.
