I started my guiding career with Drifters in January 2007, doing overland tours all over South Africa. I worked for Drifters permanently for about 1 year 4 months and then after resigning I still did the odd tour for them on a freelance/casual basis for roughly 6 months. I then, in January 2009, found a position in the Pilanesberg Game Reserve at Ivory Tree Game Lodge as a junior ranger. I moved up the ranks in the guiding department and in November 2010 I was promoted to Head Ranger at Ivory Tree Game Lodge. In May 2011 I moved to Shepherds Tree Game Lodge as assistant general manager, here I oversee the ranger department as well as various other departments within the lodge.
